Argentina Boca Juniors v. River Plate. More than a game, a matter of life itself. At sunrise, the streets surrounding the fabled Boca stadium are deserted. On Aristobulo del Valle Street, the children know that this is one day they will have to share their surroundings with the rest of the world. At nine, the police will show up, and barricades will be erected. At ten, riot shields will be unloaded from armoured vans, and mounted police will appear. And by noon the streets will be swelling with crowds and the chanting will begin. At two o'clock the game will kick off and the noise level will break the sound barrier. But by sundown the stadium will be silent again, the streets empty. For the young boys of Boca, that's when the real game starts: on the streets where they live, two-a-side - and try not to break any windows.
