Nepal
Nepal is one of the poorest countries in the world. Landlocked and sandwiched between India and Tibet, 85% of its population lives in rural poverty. But increased migration to Katmandu and other cities has triggered major water supply and sanitation problems.
In the dry season, villagers must walk for long hours every day to collect water. But that doesn’t stop Lhapka and her brother and baby sister from having some fun along the way.
